Cedar Ridge Ranch is a family run breeding and boarding facility located in the heart of central Iowa.  Kris and Larry Bierma started the operation in 1995.  They initially began their business with their hand picked APHA stallion, Major Big Time.  Major produced a great number of point earners up until the time an infection left him sterile in 2005.  At that time, the Bierma’s started breeding to different well known stallions including Will Spot Ya, who is currently one of the top five leading APHA sires.  A great number of the horses for sale are futurity eligible and in the breeder’s trust.  Most of the horses, with the exception of some of their broodmares, have been born on their farm and handled since birth.  They currently have three doubled registered AQHA/APHA, nineteen registered paints, two thoroughbreds, and six AQHA horses available for sale.  There are a wide range of ages and talents being offered for sale or on farm lease.
